Spain is one of the most visited and popular destinations in the world. About 15 million travelers visit Spain every year. Spain attracts its visitors by its history, art, sunshine, golden sandy beaches and unique culture.

Spain is located on the most westerly point of Europe on what is known as the Iberian Peninsula and it is the third biggest country in Europe comprising most of the Iberian Peninsula, the Balearic and the Canary Islands. Spain is one of the most popular beach holiday destinations in the world.

San Sebastian and Bilbao at the Basque region, Burgos, Leon, Salamanca and Segovia at the Castilla y Leon region, Seville, Cordoba and Granada at the Andalucia region is a must see cities on your Spain visit.


Flamenco

Experiencing Flamenco or watching Flamenco dance is a great attraction for the visitors in Spain. Visitors may find numerous Flamenco clubs are in all regions of Spain. AndalucĂ­a region, the southern Spain is the motherland of Flamenco. Best and real flamenco takes place at the Andaluci­a bars and nightclubs.

Bullfights

Bullfight is one the most common things in Spain. There are only few places in Spain that visitors may not find bull ring within a short drive. The bullfight in Spain is called the Fiesta Nacional (The national Sport). Thousands of locals flock to the nearest bullring every week in Spain. In addition; Navarra region is the most popular city to experience the bull running which is the part of the San Fermin Festival in Pamplona.

Coasts

The coastline of Spain measures more than 3,000 kilometres and are washed by the Atlantic Ocean on the north and by the Mediterranean Sea on the south. The coastline of Spain mainland is divided into six larger sections including Costa de la Luz, Costa Brava, Cosra Dorada, Costa del Azahar, Costa Blanca, Costa del Sol and Costa de la Luz.

Islands

Other beach holiday destinations are the Balearic Islands and Canary Islands.

The Balearic Islands are located on the eastern part of the Spain mainland and are made up of three major islands that include Majorca, Menorca, Ibiza (Eivissa) and Formentera, as well as numerous islets.

The Canary Islands are located about 300 kilometres from the African coast of Morocco and are made up of seven major islands that include Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, La Palma, La Gomera and El Hierro.
