Transportation
Gran Canaria Airport is well-connected to the island’s major destinations and offers a variety of transportation options.
You can get from the airport to the resorts by buses. Route 66 runs the south of the island. Route 60 runs to the capital, Las Palmas, and route 5 links the airport with the Faro de Maspalomas and the capital Las Palmas.
Taxis are available outside the terminal building, offering a convenient and comfortable way to reach your destination. You can expect to pay around 30-40 euros for a taxi ride to the popular tourist destinations. Taxis cost about 24 Euros to the popular holiday resorts.
Car hire is also another option for getting around the island. Many of those car hire agencies have offices at the airport offering cheap car rental services.
Transfers
If you want to avoid the hassle of finding transportation upon arrival, you can arrange for a transfer in advance. There are many private transfer companies offering services to and from the airport, with prices starting from as little as 10 euros per person.
