How to Get to San Agustin? – By Air, Ferry + Local Advice

Traveling to San Agustin is easy. Holidaymakers should get to Gran Canaria and than transfer to San Agustin from Gran Canaria Airport. San Agustin is located about 27 km. from the Gran Canaria Airport.

There are many direct flights to Gran Canaria from many major cities of Europe and the world. Flights between all islands except La Gomera is regular and flights from Spain to Gran Canaria is made by the companies Binter and Iberian Airways.


The most convenient way to get to San Agustin is by flying into Gran Canaria International Airport, also known as Las Palmas Airport. The airport is located just 25 minutes away from the resort by car.

Many airlines operate flights to Gran Canaria from major cities across Europe. Once you arrive at the airport, you can take a taxi or a rental car to get to San Agustin.

Taxis cost about 24 Euros to the popular holiday resorts. Car hire is also another option for getting around the island.

by Sea (Ferries) from Spain

Another option for getting to San Agustin is by ferry. There are regular ferry services that connect Gran Canaria to other Canary Islands as well as mainland Spain.

If you’re coming from Tenerife, Lanzarote, or Fuerteventura, you can take a ferry to Las Palmas and then take a taxi or rental car to get to the resort.

If you’re coming from mainland Spain, you can take a ferry from Cadiz or Huelva to Las Palmas and then travel to San Agustin.

By Bus

If you’re looking for a more budget-friendly option, you can take a bus to San Agustin. There are regular bus services that connect the resort to other towns and cities across Gran Canaria. You can take a bus from the airport or Las Palmas to the resort, or from other towns like Maspalomas or Playa del Ingles.

By Car

If you prefer to have your own transportation, you can rent a car at the airport or in Las Palmas and drive to the resort. The drive from the airport takes about 25 minutes, while the drive from Las Palmas takes about 40 minutes. Driving is a convenient option if you plan on exploring other parts of the island during your stay.
