Sotavento beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Fuerteventura. Sotavento beach is a golden sandy and 5 km. long wonderful beach located on the south west of Costa Calma.
Windsurfing and kite boarding is very popular here. Every July and August, the World Windsurf Championship is held on the Sotavento beach.
